Registration and completing forms

When completing an online form you will be asked to provide personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and credit details when you complete an order form to enquire about one of our services.

The information will be passed to the member(s) of the Chocolate Money responsible for the service /product requested by you. The information gathered will only be used to complete your enquiry unless specifically stated on a particular form.

Information provided by you will be handled in accordance with the relevant jurisdiction's data protection legislation. We maintain strict security standards and procedures with a view to preventing unauthorised access to your data by anyone outside of Chocolate Money.

We will not disclose your personal information unless we are obliged to do so or allowed to do so by law or where we need to do so in order to run our organisation (for example information may be passed to and used by other members of Chocolate Money or where other people process data for us). Should this be the case, we will ensure that confidentiality agreements are in place.

If you believe that any information held by us about you is incorrect or incomplete you should contact us to update your information. Any information which is found to be incorrect will be corrected as soon as possible.

As a member of PLAN Australia, we may submit loans through the PLAN Australia network in brokering your mortgage, personal loan or other type of finance.

 

PLAN Australia is covered by the Privacy Act 1988, which came into operation on 21 December 2001.

 

In accordance with our obligations under the Privacy Act, this text advises you of the manner in which your personal information is handled by us and by PLAN Australia.

In choosing to utilise the service we offer, you consent to us and PLAN Australia disclosing the information on your application form to a lender for the purposes of obtaining finance.

A copy of the application is provided to the lender in order to consider your application, and some of the information on the application is provided to PLAN Australia in order to administer the commission payable by the lender. The information held by PLAN Australia is accessible to you in accordance with the Privacy Act.
