From the very first phone call, through to the unconditional approval (received this morning) Catherine has been great.

As first home buyers, the whole process seemed way to scary to attempt on our own but with Catherines' guidance,knowledge and genuine help we have come through relatively unscathed.

At no stage has this been an "easy" process, as we dealt with 2 incompetent real estate agents, changes to the banks' policies mid-way through negotiations, a vendour that went overseas after agreeing to our offer but before the contract conditions were finalised, and the fact that I have just been re-located to Melbourne. If it wasn't for Catherine I probably would have given up quite some time ago.

At all times Catherine has been very proffessional, displaying an astute knowledge of her industry and taking the time to make sure we understood exactly what was going on. Her willingness to help in all stages of the process has been amazing and at no time did I feel like I was a burden on her even though I was calling or emailing on a regular basis. No question was ever to stupid to ask.

Ultimately, we have purchased our first home and we have Catherine to thank for about 90% of that. It was her encouragement and can do attitude that helped guide us to our desired outcome.

I have already recommended Catherine to 5 colleagues and a couple of friends who have shown some interest in purchasing a home and I will definately be calling on her again if and when we decide to buy again.

My name is Susana Lopez, and I am a Chocolate Home Loans' client. I wanted to write to you to say how pleased I was with the service that was provided.

As a home owner on a single income, I really didn't think that I would be able to redraw on my loan only a year after taking out my mortgage. I called out of curiosity more than anything else. When I spoke to Mr. Syngeniotis, he was very positive and accommodating. He was happy to meet me anywhere, allowing me to choose an environment which was comfortable for me, to have our first meeting.

I was extremely surprised when only hours after our first meeting, he had already found two lenders who were willing to lend me the money I needed to not only consolidate debts, but have enough left over to renovate by home in order to raise the value of the property.

The service was fantastic, keeping me informed of the progress of the approval process for the loan, and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. He arranged for my property valuation and made sure that he explained the reasons why it came in at that price. He endeavored to get the best deal for me, and made me comfortable with the whole process from start to finish.

For me, being someone who has never been comfortable with financial language or financial matters, it was refreshing to deal with someone who was so knowledgeable and who took the time to make sure I knew and understood what was going on.
